Camera or mic not showing? Run a real capability test on this device — nothing is recorded or uploaded.
Professional cameras (Nikon, Sony, DJI Osmo, action cams): this browser can only use your camera if it exposes a webcam / USB-streaming mode the browser can see. Put the camera in that mode, connect it, tap 🔄 Refresh in the ⚙ Look bar and select it. HDMI-only cameras work through a UVC capture card, which shows up as a normal webcam. Actual compatibility always depends on your camera model, firmware, OS, browser and connection.

📡 Share the teleprompter screen

Press 📡 Share screen in the Output menu — the prompter (camera + scrolling script) fills the screen. Then use your platform's real screen-share control or OBS Window Capture:
• YouTube Live: start your stream in the browser → Share screen → pick this window.
• Facebook Live: use Share screen in the live producer, or OBS Studio with Window Capture of this tab.
• Zoom / Google Meet / Teams: Share screen → this window — or enable Start Virtual Camera in OBS so these apps see it as a real camera.
• Instagram / WhatsApp / mobile-only apps: phones don't let apps share cameras — capture this screen with your phone's built-in screen recorder while you read the script.
A browser file can't install a system camera driver, so hardware-camera-only apps need the free OBS Virtual Camera bridge — everything else captures this window directly.

Keys while reading: Space play/pause · ↑/↓ speed · +/− text size · Page Up restart · Esc exit. Bluetooth clickers and wireless presenters send these same keys. All camera controls live in the ⚙ More bar while reading.
